Required Documents

The following rules are obligatory for all higher educational institutions of Ukraine not depending on their subordination and forms of ownership in accordance with the CMU Act from the 5th of August 1998, N 1238.
The admission of foreigners to higher educational institutions is carried out by schools with permission (license) for appropriate educational activities. Foreigners without restrictions based on race, color, political, religious and other beliefs, sex, ethnic or social origin, property status, place of residence, linguistic or other characteristics can be admitted to Ukrainian higher educational institutions.
The foreigners must submit the following documents:

  • a completed application form;
  • copy of a educational certificate and a list of studied subjects and student’s marks(points)on them;
  • document proving the absence of HIV infection;
  • a medical health certificate verified by official health authorities of the country from which a person came and issued not later than two months prior to coming to Ukraine;
  • insurance medical policy for emergency medical help
  • copy of birth certificate;
  • 6 photos 60×40 mm size;
  • return ticket with open date of return to home country within one year.

Foreigners are admitted to higher educational institutions of the interview and on the basis of a contract. Foreign students enrolled for training to a university are given student’s ID card.
